2010: In review

This year has done nothing but good to me. Of course there were some flaws here and there that kinda let me down from time to time but I prefer to stick with all the good things that happened.


January: 

The start of I guess my "lucky adventure" for 2010 you could say...well you'll know why on the latter part of this blog.

I enrolled at Pioneer review center. That was for the March board exam. I almost didn't go through it but my mom forced me so yey! thank you mother dear! I met Doris who became a dear friend to me.

February: 

Still reviewing... 'Twas intense but still I was relaxed and cool about it.

March: 
Alot has happened. AS IN ALOT ALOT!

• The dreadful 2 days board exam came.
• due to the delayed result of the boards, the anticipation was extreme!
• But it was all WORTH IT!

Him and I were officially a couple as of March 27, 2010

March 8, 2010

 Passed the board exam. And I saw my name at Manila Bulletine!

April: 

• Oath Taking.

Landed my first job as a Registered Medical Technologist

• got my very first paycheck too!
• Celebrated my baby and I's first monthsarry. He made me his famous carbonara which is ironically I do not eat at all! Yet, it has now became my fave food!
• Met his friends/classmates. 

May: 

• nothing much happened.... still adjusting to my workplace.
• Rain met my mom for the very first time.

June:

My month! The best birthday so far!

• My brother bought me some stuff from Japan: wallet, bag and my fave magazine...VIVI!
• Met my relatives from Italy. My aunt gave me a bag so yippie!
• Reunited with my college gurlfriends: Erth, Vanessa and Celeste.

They surprised me with 2 cupcakes.

• Celebrating it with Rain.

Random things he did on my day:

- he woke up so early just to see me before I go to work. Take note he traveled more than an hour (almost 2 i think). And he arrived around 7 am and I was late >.<

- treat me breakfast @ Jollibee :D

- he bought me a cake 

June 5, 2010: MEET THE FAMILY! OMG! never been so nervous in my entire life! And I was thankful because his family were very welcoming.

new doo. my gift to myself after not touching it for 3-4 years whatsoever...

July:

• Handled Immuno-Sero section @ the lab. I partnered with Doris. Yes she helped me to get in. Thanks girl!

• Messed up something at work. I had to pass a memo and a corrective action. wah! This was so scarry I have to admit.

August: 

Rotated to another section which is CHEMISTRY.

September:

can't think of anything hahaha! :P

October: 

I recieved a Memo from the company's HR due to my tardiness. "Aggregated Tardiness" according to them lol. Well I had to sacrifice my attendance because of some reasons. Pretty good reasons though: I have to extend my duty just so I can help lessen some work the next day. My travel time from home to my work. etc. etc.

November:

• My 3rd month in Chemistry. Became my fave section because I got so close with my senior staff. I miss you mam mitch :(
• My dad is here! after a few months of being away because of work ^.^
• My family made a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge decision......
• Went to Pagsanjan, Laguna with my gurlfriends. 

Bought 2 pairs of shoes in Liliw. 1 for me and the other for my mom.

• Was regularized at work. but little did I know.....

December:

• I will be relocated to another branch. Same company though.
• Experienced my first Christmas party at work.

• Danced again. This time at our branch's Christmas party. Yep, we had two parties. one for the whole company. the other is our branch.
• I found a few stores which sells elf! 
• Spendin alot of time with this guy...

Oh one more thing before I forget, I'm blogging again :D...

Thank you so much 2010! it was an honor meeting you! You just gave me the best there is and I know I'm going to cherish it forever.

a muddy love affair

So my baby came over again yesterday. I am just uberly happy for my so called "Christmas" vacation so far. The new year's coming up and I am having that feeling good sense all over. You know what I mean? hahaha! Whatever it is, I am thankful for that.

Anyhoo!

Rain arrived a bit late than he usually do whenever he visits me. Thanks for that heavy traffic in SLEX! -.-

But it don't matter anyway. As long as he arrived safely it's all good thank you God!

No he's not trying to be abusive of my nephew. He's just bullying the lil guy lol. ooops! I mean playing with him haha.

 oh! make that the 2 of us :D

 He gave me this "Galantina" (+ 3 oranges) which he's mom made. And I tell you! IT'S SO GOOD! I love it. Can't get enough of it actually. I shouldn't have shared that to him. Tsk. After all, it's mine. He gave that to me right? haha kidding baby :D

 And the best of all. We got silly and made a fool of ourselves by putting mud pack all over our face. It was so funny hahaha! Plus, our convo in FB made it more hilarious =)) (because we were just teasing each other the whole time mwahahahaha!)

I still laugh whenever I think about it...

I had the perfect day yesterday! Thank you baby for giving me a whole day of your time once again :) It's the best and perfect way to end my 2010. Oh by the way, I haven't told him... He's the best gift that I have ever received this year. Well of course the second actually because my Christianity and salvation is still at the top of my list :D and I'm sure he knows that hehe. Love you so much baby ko!

Today is our 9th Monthsarry!

I am so thrilled by how long we have come... ^.^

Tinanong ko sya kung love nya talaga ako, pang-ilang month na namin ngayon. He kinda gave me a slight delayed response (like 2-3secs late hahaha) lol. So I jokingly said "di mo talaga ako love kasi ang tagal ng sagot mo at nagisip ka pa." :D then I was blown away by his response: "Sige, kung love mo talaga ako nakakailang hours na tayo?" WTH! Napatanga naman daw ako sa tanong nya haha. Shameless to say, I DON'T KNOW! errr! Then he gave me a value = 6,572 hours! Alam nga din nya in seconds but I forgot lang kung ilan hahaha. SO! in short TALO AKO @.@ He said nagcompute sya last night. Ewan ko lang kung totoo lol! Pero 'yung thought at attempt pa lang na magcompute kung ilang oras o segundo ang aming pagsasamahan ay napakalaking bagay na para sa akin. We don't really celebrate monthsarries nor give each other gifts para lang ma-express ang love sa isa't isa. Pero ang maliliit na bagay tulad nito ang pinakaprecious and most valued gift I can ever receive from him.

A ton of things happened today. So happy!

First. I CLEANED MY ROOM!

Yep! after a decade of ignoring all the clutter. I finally made a move to organize everything. Well I'm not yet done though 'coz I have to buy a few storage for my stuff to have it fully O-R-G-A-N-I-Z-E. But heck I can see my bed now hahahaha!!! And man I missed laying my back on that soft thing. Well as you all know, I have been sleeping on the floor for the past few months lmao! Eh, trust me, I have a good reason for that my dear ;) 

Second. My baby came for a visit.

It's not the effort that makes the girl smile. It's the willingness of the guy to do those crazy efforts just to make her feel special

He only had a few hours to stay so we made the most out of our little time. He bought a cake for my whole family. And! I made a good deed for him :P I cooked something for him >.< I have no talent whatsoever on that field OMG! But I decided to do it anyway 'coz hey it's the holidays so... RIGHT! I made "Giniling" hmm... I'm not sure about what it's called but it has potatoes and carrots and tomato sauce in it. Get the picture? I hoped he liked it. Well he said he did. But!!!!.....

Third. New journal.

Again. As you all know, I'm a sucker for journals. So, I bought another one today. I can't resist. Well I will use it as a dairy for my everyday adventures. Oh and I also bought some cute glitter gel pens! Wow! The hype is really here!

One word: MOTIVATED.

Forth. Started writing.
 Dunno. I just can't wait for 2011 to come. I know it's barely a week now and another year will arrive. I'll blame my excitement for this. I am supposed to start using and writing on my pretty notebooks on January 1, 2011. But heck!

Oh did I mentioned that I am on my 5 days suspension at work? What a good timing for the holidays right???!

  I am so thankful for a lot of things :)

Fifth. Radical Self Love.

I love galadarling. She is such an inspiration to me. I have not visited her site for a long time. And last night I decided to take a peak on what's new on her. She is such an idealistic.

I have read about her post radical self love early 2010. And I find it amazing! I was a participant to all her challenges including this one but since I started working I kinda lost track on everything. Then I saw this post last night: 100-ways-you-can-start-loving-yourself-right-now. So many great suggestions! I am planning on printing this and post it on my wall just to give myself more oomph in my life. ♥

So the 24th was blunt. I mean it passed like it's just an ordinary day for my family. Nothing special. I guess everyone wasn't on the mood to celebrate because of the few things that's happened to my family. But oh well. I'm a christian so "Christmas" is not a big deal for me at all. I have been greeting people though with "Merry Christmas" but honestly there was an awkwardness on my part. Maybe it's because of my belief and all. But anyway....

My mom slept early though. But we still gave time to prepare a little something to share to everyone here at home. We have some foods laid on the table. We had Menudo, spaghetti my brother made, dough nuts, cake, Humba (a cebuano dish which I LIKE!), and of course fruits!! Then we started videoke-ing and had a concert of our own hahaha. Twas fun!

But  what I love this  holiday season was... talking to my boyfriend on the phone. Thank you to the unlimited call of suncell  mwahahha! We did not  see each other because we live far apart :( but of course  hearing his voice all day until Christmas eve (yep we had our  phones sticked to our ears THE WHOLE DAY! :D) was enough to ease the loneliness I'm feeling because of his absence.

My last day/week at work

.... well technically since I have my suspension (because of my lovely attendance thank you very much! lol.) Will be gone in 9 days so that meanssssssssssssss................ REST TIME! yeah baby!!! woooo!! Unfortunately, we had a very busy and tiring day. There were soooo many people. Seriously! I mean do they have any idea what the date is? tsk.

Anyway, we held our Christmas party 3 days ago. It's alright. The only thing that I enjoyed the most was our 1 and a half day of practice. I wasn't feeling very well during those days hence I could not concentrate and could not absorb the steps. We danced to super junior's "Sorry, Sorry". Until now I could not get over it. I have neve liked that song this much lol.

 Won 2nd place and got 3.5k oyeah! Then we bought FOOD!! and stock everything into one of the empty cabinet in the lab.

•  I went to his house on Monday.

•  Went to SM: 
• ate @ Pizza hut; ordered - Ultimate cheese pizza, Tuna bacon melt, garlic bread and 2 glasses of ice tea! mmmm yum!
• window shopping! Lol!!
• watched The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
• went for some sweet n sour yogurt ice cream! thank you white hat. 
•  he gave his x-mas gift to me yey!! love love love!

•  Invaded their house again yesterday haha.

•  breakfast @ shakeys first because I didn't had the time to accompany him to his therapy because of the effin traffic that ruined my day. Yeah I was late again to our meet up sad to say.
• bought some cd's: inception, skyline and petrang kabayo (yep! i wanted to watch this haha!) 
• movie marathon 
• kulitan.
• he cooked spaghetti! but he's carbonara is still my faaaaaaaaaave!
• then my time to give him his gift :P
• more kulitan!! 
• he and boo (his sister) gave me a box of "food for the god's"

And because I get cold in the bus easily, he lent me his sweater! :D

Good thing it's so in nowadays.

I found this top here at home and I don't know whose it from 'coz nobody said anything when I wore it the other day so I guess it's mine to keep now. It's not really my kind of clothing piece but I wore it anyway.

After I went thru last night, I still had the nerve to go malling haha.

I just need some time to help me get rid of things that's been bugging my mind lately. I didn't want to stay home just 'coz....

I only intended to buy one thing and that's a gift for our upcoming Christmas party at work. Then again I had a hard time figuring out what to buy sooooooo I ended up buying a couple of things for.... none other than ME! looooooool! I'm a girl, what can I do :D

GOOD MORNING LOVES!

While waiting for our meeting yesterday, I had the time to roam around the mall. I was actually goin to only look for some gift ideas but I can't seem to find any :( then I saw the sanrio store and OMIGASH! I looooooooooove everything! The only thing I did not like about it, was the PRICE! Crap! Everything was sooo expensive!

I have been looking for the perfect notebook that I can just write random thoughts on for next year.

I was about to leave when I saw this notebook on display. Then I saw the inside and I'm like "I got to have that" :D

So I bought it and Yey!!

I am so inspired this morning. Pretty things makes my day hehe. 

I am obsessed with journals so I am going to use that to put my daily thank yous :D
